My job at Compassion is all about branding. It’s making sure that the marketing materials that we create, are inline with the Compassion brand and that our logo is on everything. It’s marketing 101. So, when you go to a Compassion project, you would think there would be a nice shiny sign at the front of the church that screams, “this is a Compassion project”. Well, there isn’t. In every project that we went to this week, there has been no trace that the church we were visiting was a church that was partnering with Compassion. I love it. It’s one thing that makes Compassion so unique. We partner with the churches and empower them to do the ministry in their own community.
Below is a picture of the project director of the project we visited today.
Every project director and pastor that I have met has always emulated so much passion, love and humility. They are truly the hands and feet of Jesus.
How beautiful on the mountains
are the feet of those who bring good news,
who proclaim peace,
who bring good tidings,
who proclaim salvation,
who say to Zion,
“Your God reigns!”
– Isaiah 52:7
